A few weeks ago, one of SRBWI’s signature programs, The Unita Blackwell Young’s Women’s Leadership Institute (YWLI), held its 18th Summer Intensive Institute in historic Birmingham, AL, and Montgomery, AL. Approximately 50 young women ages 16-22 gathered and engaged in sessions pertinent to their communities. Sessions included mental health, physical, broadband, financial literacy, domestic violence, entrepreneurship, and other topics. Below you’ll find pictures of the beautiful week we had with YWLI.
